ASU: Had an immediate impact her freshman season to help lead the Sun Devil offense and team back to the NCAA tournament...will take the brunt of outside hitter duties with the departure of Nina Reeves and Nicole Morton...led Xavier to the 5A State Title as a senior...earned high school All-American honors as a senior.
2006 (Freshman): Saw action in 22 matches, starting three of them...compiled 66 kills and 15 total blocks...had a career-high 15 kills against Stanford (10/27), also put up 12 kills @ USC (11/12)...had a career-high three blocks in the NCAA Tournament versus the College of Charleston (11/30).
High School: A 2005 graduate of Xavier College Prep in Phoenix, Ariz....earned four varsity letters and was team captain during her senior season...filled her trophy case her senior year, earning High School All-American honors, a spot on the Fab 50 list from Volleyball Magazine, Most Outstanding Senior Athlete at Xavier award, Phoenix Women's Sports Association's Female Athlete of the Year Award, All-Phoenix Team and All-Northwest Valley Team honors...was named to the All-Arizona Team as a junior and a senior...three times was named All-Region (2003, 2004, 2005)...had a .560 hitting percentage as a senior.
Personal: Majoring in Marketing...full name is Paige Christine Mittelstaedt...parents are Jan and DeeDee Mittelstaedt of Phoenix, Ariz....has a brother named Brett...is teammates with her cousin Rachel...earned the US Army Reserves Scholar Athlete Award in high school...enjoys sewing...born June 6, 1986 in Phoenix, Ariz.
